Description
The Richmond County Care Management for At-Risk Children (CMARC) program partners with families and guardians of children from birth to five years old, utilizing a family-centered, system-of-care approach to ensure child wellbeing. By addressing a gap in child maltreatment prevention programming, CMARC supports families with substance-affected infants or children at risk for a diagnosis with disabilities, special healthcare needs, or social/emotional disorders. CMARC social workers coordinate resources, programs, and services tailored to each family's needs, serving as a vital link between the child, family, and providers while strengthening parent-child relationships. Referrals to CMARC can also come from external sources, such as local providers, the local hospital system, and families seeking help.
