What We Do
The Tobacco Prevention and Education programs aim to provide educational information that promotes the benefits of tobacco use cessation and tobacco-free living for our citizens. These programs promote evidence-based curriculums and training through presentations and handouts for resources on tobacco prevention, suspension, and tobacco/vaping cessation. We spread the message through a variety of activities.
Who We Serve
The Tobacco Prevention and Education programs serve our community as a whole. The goal is to inform all citizens about the benefits of smoke-free public places. We serve businesses/organizations, schools, and clinics just to name a few.
How We Impact
These program strategies strive to provide opportunities for everyone in our county to be informed about smoking and how it affects all individuals. The Tobacco Prevention and Education programs impact all citizens to learn about the effects of smoking and how it harms your body. Our goal is to impact our community by educating all our citizens so they can learn about positive behavioral changes that decrease chronic diseases and improve overall health.
