Description

Onslow Memorial Hospital partners with the Jacksonville Police Department to host Drug Take Back programs and oversee permanent drug collection sites throughout the county, providing the public with a safe way to dispose of unwanted or unneeded medications. All medications are accepted under a no-questions-asked policy, and OCHD reports out the data collected to help inform community safety and substance misuse prevention efforts. The nine permanent drug collection sites are: Jacksonville Department of Public Safety, Onslow County Sheriff Department, two Walgreens locations, Swansboro Police Department, Richlands Town Hall, Holly Ridge Police Department, and two pharmacies on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.
