Description
The Eastern Carolina Injury Prevention program provides access to injury prevention education and services that can reduce the potential for death and disability and improve the health and quality of life of children and the general population by:
- Implementing driver and occupant safety initiatives
- Partnering with community organizations for fall safety education and access to resources
- Collaborating with local and state partners to promote and implement injury prevention campaigns that affect all age groups
- Implementing innovative approaches for firearm safety and suicide prevention
