Progress in 2024
The number of people in Lee County who are in poverty or homeless has seen a substantial increase, so the number of people utilizing food pantries and homeless shelters has increased, as well. Community partners in the area continue to serve this population and the LCHD serves to promote these organizations with those in need. The LCHD and these partners continue to build our relationships in order to refer members of the community to one another for the best assistance possible.
