Who We Serve
All people in Montgomery County seeking education on stigma related to substance misuse and addiction for their employees/group.
How We Impact
Reducing the stigma around substance misuse and addiction opens avenues for education and discussion around services available for individuals in the county seeking care.
Progress in 2022-2023
Stigma training was implemented for multiple agencies across multiple sectors, including first responders, law enforcement, health care, and faith-based organizations. Peer Support Specialists hired through local and private funding provided these trainings to interested parties. Through each training, participants were provided with resources to utilize in day to day operations within their own organization.
