The Brunswick Wellness Coalition (BWC) Collective Impact Scorecard exists to illustrate the impact of the coalition to achieves its mission of improving the health of the community with a vision of becoming the healthiest county in North Carolina. 

BWC will achieve this vision by bringing together community groups and individuals to improve the health and well-being for all those living and working in Brunswick County. Working across all sectors, including healthcare, government, business and industry, human services, community service agencies, educational institutions, the faith community, and the general population, we will share resources and support to prevent disease and promote health.

BWC began through a Healthy People, Healthy Carolinas grant, an initiative of The Duke Endowment.

2024-2026 Coalition Goals and Outcomes:

• Improve Brunswick County’s overall health outcome ranking from 28 (2022) to 24.

• Decrease the number of uninsured residents, under the age of 65, in Brunswick County from 13% (2022) to 11%.

• Use Health as an economic investment tool in Brunswick County.
