NC Harm Reduction Coalition (NCHRC) is a statewide grassroots organization dedicating to implementing harm reduction interventions, public health strategies, drug policy transformation, and justice reform in North Carolina.  NC Harm Reduction Coalition engages in grassroots advocacy, resource and policy development, coalition building, and direct services for people impacted by drug use.  NCHRC will utilize the health department and offer residents of Robeson County syringe exchange, naloxone and health referrals to the health department.  This service will be made available weekly to residents of Robeson County.    

Currently NC Harm Reduction's Engagement/Linkage Specialist offers educational materials and supplies regarding harm reduction weekly at the health department.  This is a new outreach that the health department has initiated.  New strategies are being discussed to increase the number of people that access services that NC Harm Reduction offers.
