A Behavioral Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) Tailored Plan (Tailored Plan) is a North Carolina Medicaid Managed Care health plan. It offers physical health, pharmacy (prescriptions), care management and behavioral health services. It is for members with mental health needs, substance use disorders, intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) or traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Tailored Plans offer added services for members who qualify.

Tailored Plans started July 1, 2024. 

As mentioned above, TPs rolled out July 1, 2024. 

The Healthy Blue Children & Families Speciality Plan (CFSP) rolled out in December 2025 for those in foster care. It is designed specifically for children, youth, and young adults (up to age 26) in foster care, adoptive, or child welfare, providing integrated physical and behavioral health services. The plan provides comprehensive care, including physical health, behavioral health, pharmacy, and Intellectual/Developmental Disability (I/DD) services. Yadkin County's Foster Care & CMARC programs had multiple meetings with these plans to assist with a smooth transition for recipients.
