Description
Save lives and reduce suicidal behaviors by providing innovative, practical, and proven suicide prevention training. We believe that quality education empowers all people, regardless of their background, to make a positive difference in the life of someone they know. -QPR Institute
QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) primarily serves individuals who are in crisis or at risk of suicide, as well as their friends, family members, and community stakeholders. It is designed to equip gatekeepers such as teachers, coaches, and community leaders with the skills to recognize the warning signs of suicide, engage in a supportive conversation, and refer individuals to appropriate mental health resources for help.
QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) primarily impacts individuals at risk of suicide, as it equips community members and professionals with the skills to recognize warning signs, engage in supportive conversations, and connect those in crisis to appropriate resources. This approach can significantly affect not only those at risk but also their friends, family, and the broader community by fostering a more informed and responsive environment towards mental health issues.
