Description

Daymark Recovery Services is a non-profit organization established to provide comprehensive behavioral healthcare services as defined by those in the community in need of mental health or substance abuse treatment options. All staff are highly qualified individuals with a plethora of knowledge to suit individual care as needed. Each of our facilities has a core set of of service options available, however; some centers offer various group meetings or community outreach programs according to the service area. 

Progress in 2022

In 2022, the leading inpatient diagnoses included opiate disorder, alcohol use disorder, moos disorder, anxiety disorder, and cocaine use disorder. For outpatient diagnoses, opiate use disorder, mood disorder, alcohol use disorder and psychotic disorder. Daymark experienced a reduction in the total number of adult clients and the services offered when compared to 2021.

Progress in 2023

In 2023, the leading inpatient diagnoses included opiate use disorder, alcohol use disorder, mood disorder, cocaine use disorder, and amphetamine use disorder. For outpatient diagnoses, mood disorder, opiate use disorder, alcohol use disorder, psychotic disorder, and anxiety disorders were the most common. The number of patients increased significantly throughout the year, possibly as a result of post-Covid effects. Care management started in 2023, with Daymark being one of at least two providers in Davidson County offering this service, concentrating on both mental and physical health care.

Progress in 2024

In 2024, the leading inpatient diagnoses included alcohol use disorder, opiate disorder, mood disorders, cocaine use disorder, and psychotic disorders. For outpatient care, mood disorders, alcohol use disorder, opiate disorder, anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders were the most common. Davidson County experienced 80% increase in individuals, both children and adults, with Medicaid or ACA insurance due to Medicaid expansion. Daymark continues to see a steady number of individuals undergoing detox, whether for their first attempt or a relapse. Opioid-related issues are surpassed the main focus of treatment in the outpatient facilities. This change is likely due to progress in addressing opioid dependency and the impact of Medicaid Expansion, which has allowed more people with mental health conditions to access care. Also, Indigent care decreased by 27%, while Medicaid coverage increased by 27%.
