Trillium Health Resources works closely with local community partners, health department, law enforcement, community paramedics/PORT, social services and healthcare facilities, etc.- hospitals/clinics and pharmacies to address needs and ideas to improve Healthcare Access & Quality, Physical Health and Behavioral Health (including Mental Health and Substance Use) in Edgecombe County.

Trillium Health Resources will provide a wide range of services and resources for individuals with behavioral health conditions, intellectual/developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, and traumatic brain injuries in Edgecombe County.  We offer crisis services, support for house and food needs, and connections to various community resources, quickly and effectively.

Trillium participated in 4 health fairs in Edgecombe County in 2025.  They held 4 mental health first aid training courses for individuals who either work or reside in Edgecombe County.  All the trainings were virtual, and the participating agencies were One Therapy NC, Easterseals PORT, and Duke University.  Educational sessions that were held in the county was a Re-Entry Simulation, Supporting Children Early Simulation, QPR and Crisis Intervention Training to law enforcement agencies.  Trillium also worked with the Edgecombe County Public School System by providing them with Crisis Continuum resources and tools or back to school and remained a constant support throughout the school as needed.  Trillium’s goals are to continue building relations, networking and distributing resources to the communities within Edgecombe County via community engagement/outreach, events, health fairs, etc.
