Supported Community Living (SCL) Hourly
What We Do
Supported Community Living services are intended to provide assistance with daily living needs of the member and shall be available on an as needed basis. Different from our daily SCL service, hourly SCL is provided in 15-minute incrememnt units and typically for a few hours at a time. Service activities include: Personal and home skill training, Individual advocacy, Community Skills training, Personal management skills training, Socialization skills training, Communication skills training, Personal environment support, Transportation, and other Treatment activities.
Who We Serve
Friendship Ark Homes and Community Services provides supports to adults (anyone over the age of 18) with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
How We Impact
Through the Friendship Ark Supported Community Living Program, adults with intellectual disabilities are able to live more independently in their community of choice.
