The FY23 Social Emotional Learning will offer social-emotional development supports and services to youth from middle school age in targeted programming especially designed for female identifying youth. Programs will serve the Wheaton and Gaithersburg communities in two middle schools. 60 youth between the ages 10-14 will participate in Goal Setting Girls (GSG.)
Program models in this strategy will target youth who are at risk of disengagement from school and other alternative education pathways. Crittenton will deliver Goal Setting Girls at Forest Oak Middle School in Gaithersburg (zip code 20877) and Key Middle School in Silver Spring (zip code 20866).
