Program Summary
MoCo Reconnect is a One-Stop Drop-In Center for youth and young adults, aged 16-24, with connected direct services provide by our partner organizations. Services address the needs of youth and young adults who are disconnected or at risk of becoming disconnected from school or work. During the pandemic, partner organizations provided services virtually or from their headquarter offices while the LMB Board used the opportunity to reconfigure and improve the space for a Spring 2022 opening.
Case Management interventions and wrap around supports promote healthy transitions to adulthood through resource connection, referrals, community building, mentoring, counseling, life skills, psychoeducational, and other workshops.
Target Population
MoCo ReConnect's program strategy remains intentionally designed to engage African‐American, Latinx and LGBTQIA+ who have been historically systemically impacted and lacking in appropriate supports and resources. Fiscal Year 2023
