Most adults in the United States use the internet, but many of them don’t have broadband service at home. There are disparities in home broadband service by race/ethnicity, age, geographic location, education, and income. More hospitals and health systems are using internet-based communication and health care tools, so strategies to increase broadband internet access are important for improving health. Increase the proportion of adults with broadband internet — HC/HIT‑05 - Healthy People 2030 | health.gov
