Ripe Revival Mobile Market mission is to "Revive Communities Through Food."  Currently the non-profit works to establish farms and gardens on campuses, provides nutrition education lessons and operates a Mobile Market program.  The Mobile Market buses serve communities and make healthy food accessible to all regardless of their budget by operating as a pay-what-you-can grocery store on wheels.  The Mobile Market program relies on community partners who sponsor host sites weekly, biweekly or monthly.

The non-profit is able to serve all communities in Eastern and Northeastern North Carolina but we primarily focus its efforts in Twin Counties, which includes Nash County.  All programs are available to all populations, but emphasis is given to low-income populations of all ages and senior adults.

The goal for the mobile market is to increase various opportunities for our Nash county citizens.  Our mission is to "Revive Communities Through Food."  All our programs are available to all populations, with emphasis to serve low-income communities of all ages. 

-Served 2,573 individuals in 2023 at 73 different Mobile Market events across the county which included 9,764.68 pounds of produce and 2,156 pounds of grocery/protein.

-Worked toward establishing community partnerships to expand healthy food access opportunities.
