What We Do
The Vermont Department of Mental Health works in partnership with other state and community partner organizations to promote effective evidence-based interventions at 3 different levels: Universal (general population), Selective (subpopulations), and Indicated (individuals). Additionally, Vermont's 9-8-8 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7/365 for anyone experiencing a mental health issue.
Who We Serve
Any person in Vermont who is at risk for suicide is served by the State of Vermont's comprehensive approach to suicide prevention.
