What We Do
The Iredell County Health Department is partnering with Iredell County Wellness and Blue Cross Blue Shield to support tobacco cessation efforts for employees across Iredell County. This initiative is designed to help individuals quit tobacco use by providing them with the necessary tools, resources, and support through the Blue Cross Blue Shield Quitline. The program offers personalized counseling, resources, and follow-up support to employees who are ready to quit tobacco. The program focuses on creating a supportive environment that encourages long-term success, including access to coaching, nicotine replacement therapy, and strategies for overcoming cravings and managing stress without tobacco.
