New Beginnings is an outpatient substance abuse treatment facility with certified counselors to provide you with individual and/or group sessions. We aim to inspire clients to value their mental and physical health through group therapy classes. The MAT program supports individuals in Union County who are affected by opioids by providing affordable Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) treatment, medical care, and counseling services.

 With regular visits to our counselors, we will help you identify the triggers, weaknesses, and strengths, and learn how to cope with opioid cravings. We know how expensive treatment can be, and we can provide you with zero-cost treatment plans.

New Beginnings offers counseling and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) in collaboration with Medasic. It has served 29 clients; however, some individuals have been denied services due to funding shortages. The evaluation team suggested monitoring the waitlist to better understand unmet needs. 

In 2025, New Beginnings, in collaboration with Medasic, provided five additional clients MAT services. New Beginnings works collaboratively with the Family Treatment Court.
