Vision Screening Program - School Age

What We Do

The Hearing and Vision Program provides free hearing and vision screening, referrals and follow-up for preschool (ages 3-5 years) and school age children.

The Macomb County Health Department Hearing and Vision Program is conducting FREE Hearing and Vision Screenings for incoming Kindergarteners at various locations and dates from August to September. If your child has not been screened in preschool, please call (586) 412-5945 for an appointment and screening locations. SCREENINGS ARE DONE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Take advantage of this free service now, so your child will be prepared for entrance into Kindergarten prior to the first day of school, as mandated by the Michigan Public Health Code (Act 368 or 1978).

Call the program staff at (586) 412-5945 or E-mail us now! for more information.
