Live Well Wake works to connect organizations that may not provide direct clinical or mental health support services to other healthcare-based organizations across the county. 

In 2023, Live Well Wake convened its Mental Health Workgroup, a group of community partners dedicated to addressing mental health issues within Wake County. The Mental Health Workgroup aims to implement the mental health strategies mentioned in Live Well Wake's Community Health Improvement Plan. The partners within this workgroup span across faith-based organizations, non-profits, Greek fraternities and sororities, and Wake County Residents.

In addition, Wake County's HealthLit4Wake Team, released a Requests for Proposals (RFP) announcement for its community-based Mini-Grant Fund. The fund was utilized to strengthen community partner capacity in increasing accessing to healthcare and health education for marginalized communities across the county. The Mini Grant fund provided over $250k to community-based organizations in Wake County. 

In 2024, Live Well Wake continued the work of its Mental Health Workgroup to address mental health issues within Wake County. The Mental Health Workgroup aims to implement the mental health strategies mentioned in Live Well Wake's Community Health Improvement Plan. The partners within this workgroup span across faith-based organizations, non-profits, Greek fraternities and sororities, and Wake County Residents. The Mental Health Workgroup continues to add new members to the group and works to increase partners around mental health in Wake County.
