The Lincoln County Health Department's Adult Health Clinic includes comprehensive health exams, related laboratory testing, education and referrals for individuals over the age of eighteen who live in Lincoln County.  We serve Lincoln County residents over the age of eighteen . The primary objective of this clinic is to offer screenings and connect individuals to a primary care provider. In addition to preventative screenings, patients receive education and support to help them meet their health goals. Now that our community has entered a new chapter in COVID-19 repsonse, the Lincoln County Health Department plans to focus its efforts on preventative screenings and addressing chronic illness within our county. 

In 2023, the Adult Health Clinic made great progress in enhancing patient care and expanding access to essential health services. This year, we concentrated on preventive care, comprehensive health exams, and meeting the unique needs of our adult population. Through new health education programs and increased access to regular screenings, we improved early detection and intervention, supporting better health outcomes for our patients. As we transition to a new phase in COVID-19 response, we are now able to focus even more on the specific needs of our community, proactively addressing chronic illness and promoting wellness across Lincoln County. We remain committed to building a healthier community and are excited to continue this progress in the years to come.

In 2024, there have been no major changes to our Adult Health Clinic, but we have continued to focus on promoting preventive screenings and educating the community on managing chronic illnesses. This year, we placed particular emphasis on reaching underserved communities, raising awareness about available services and resources tailored to their needs. We also acquired a mobile clinic, which is currently used primarily for flu shot clinics and health assessments in collaboration with our school system. Looking ahead, we plan to expand its use to reach underserved populations directly, providing more accessible care within the community.
