HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infection Community Education and Outreach Events

Description

Division of Public Health Staff and volunteers at community outreach event

Agencies that are funded through the GCDPH and NCDHHS under the Integrated Targeted Testing Services (ITTS) program provide HIV/ STI screenings and education in various community locations in Guilford County. These locations include colleges and universities, stores, housing complexes, shelters, nightclubs, mobile clinics, and other community sites. Agencies provide STI education and risk reduction methods to audiences of all sizes and venues. Providing these services outside of a typical clinic at various community sites increases access to STI screening services and normalizes conversations around sexual health.
