Description
Since 1991, the Adopt-a-Mom (AAM) program has partnered with medical providers to ensure vulnerable individuals received prenatal care and wrap-around services during and after their pregnancy. Community physicians provide medical care at a reduced fee. The AAM program partners with community agencies to ensure appropriate referrals are made to provide additional support, education, and resources for AAM clients. The AAM Patient Coordinator is a bi-lingual staff position to more easily enroll women in the program. For more information, contact Elbia Altamirez, Adopt-A-Mom Patient Coordinator, 336-641-7513.
Progress in 2024
