In FY22 Following Covid-19 and school resumed the data for this measure increased. Youth were anxious to get back into the schools. With Covid still prevalent students missed days due to Covid and flu-like illness.

What Works
Mentors are in close contact with teachers and staff at Caroline County Public Schools to make sure mentees are attending school.
Data Discussion
FY22- During school closures due to Covid-19 in FY21, not all youth had access to internet for virtual learning at home which reduced their school attendance. Since returning to in person school in FY22, there has been improved school attendance. Mentors regularly check in with teachers to make sure their mentees are attending school.
