As of FY2021, CCJ performs an annual recidivism study for 3 years post-probation. For this study, data is pulled from the CCJ client database to create a list of clients that completed probation successfully. Each client was cross checked with public Court records to determine if they had been re-arrested in the 3 year period (fiscal years) following their release from probation supervision. A new recidivism study will be performed annually and will typically be available in the fall. (September 2023 note: the data for the "# of clients who did not reoffend" measure lags behind the # of clients measure below.)
