Why Is This Important?
This report is generated from reviewing the diseases that are reviewed by ODH as Public Health Quality Indicators. Diseases included are confirmed and probable cases of: Campylobacteriosis, Cryptosporidiosis, E. coli O157:H7 and Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC), Giardiasis, Influenza-associated hospitalization, Legionnaires; disease, Pertussis, Salmonellosis and Shigellosis. Reporting Lag is the difference in business days between the date of diagnosis and the date of report. CCPH participates in the FoodCORE program project where ODH conducts interviews of patients with Salmonella, E. coli, and Listeria on behalf of the local health department.

The 18.4 days Average lagtime in Q2 2023 was due to, one pertussis case that had a lag from TriHealth of 266. TriHealth acknowledged it was a late report when sending it. Manuel report it did not ELR.
