Story Behind the Curve
Due to COVID-19, the Second Steps program was unable to be implemented in 2020. In 2021, our partners Insight Human Services was able to implement the program with two elementary schools in Yadkin County.
- Second Steps was implemented at East Bend Elementary for two 5th Grade groups that reached 40 students.
- Second Steps was implemented at Boonville Elementary with two 5th Grade groups that reached 42 students.
This helped provide the baseline data for this program. However, Insight Human Services did not implement this program during 2022.
