91172 contractors must complete a pre-solicitation process to support quality at source and ensure Settings Rule compliance. Programs onboarded means contractors who successfully completed the process for contracting and began billing. No POC means those programs that were reviewed and had no findings in their first review.

Story Behind the Curve

Recent updates have been made to the training and resources provided for 91172 potential contracts in an effort to help new providers understand service code requirements to improve service delivery and reduce the amount of findings during their first review.

Over the FY25, OSR began to notice a trend in referrals for new providers across our systems, who seemed to lack the understanding of contract requirements. OSR began working on a plan to expand resources and TA for all new provider, not just those under the 91172 procurement. This includes changing the timing of our first contact with them to to be within the first few months after they start billing, and preparing resources to send when they first are awarded a contract.

This measure demonstrates if the training and resources provided are helping our new contractors improve services delivery and adhere to contact requirements.
