Measure Definition

Cases open at the end of the federal fiscal year with support orders established as compared to the total number of open cases, expressed as a percentage.

This is a federal measure calculated at the end of the federal fiscal year that ends on September 30th.

Story Behind the Curve

The order establishment process began to decline slightly during the pandemic.  Not that the public health emergency is over and cases can be processed appropriately based on cooperation requirements, we are beginning to trend upwards towards pre-pandemic levels.
