Story Behind the Curve
FY25: The total number of clients served with minimum, normal, and intensive assessed risk level may not equal the total number of survey responses. In some cases the data is not known due to probation revocation and/or case transfer prior to completion of the risk assessment. In other cases, clients do not meet the cut off score risk level to be classified as minimum, normal, or intensive levels of supervision. (7/10/25, SS)
07/23: The percentage of clients served with minimum, normal, and intensive assessed risk level may not equal 100% due to clients who do not meet the cut off score risk level to be classified as minimum, normal, or intensive levels of supervision. (7/14/23, SS)
07/2022: This measure needs revised, as the numerator is the number of clients served with minimum assessed risk level and the correct denominator should be the total number of PO surveys completed at close-out, not the total number of Story County clients served, as not all Story County clients served in the fiscal year are closed-out in that fiscal year. Per the guidance of Jean Kresse via email on 7/12/22 in Anneke Mundel's absence, the correct calculation was completed manually and noted in the data comment section. The correct measure should read 43.4%, as 119 clients were served with minimum assessed risk level out of 274 total number of PO surveys completed at close-out. SS
FY19-20:This number is total number of surveyed clients from January 1, 2020-June 30, 2020. Collection of Survey data began in January 2020, future years will include the full year of data.
