This indicator tracks the number of individual children recorded by the States of Jersey Police as victims of crime. 

It should be noted that police recorded crime statistics can be affected by the willingness of victims to report and by changes in policing activity and recording practice. The headline figures also hides variations both within and across crime types. As such, they need careful interpretation to understand changes and the implications for the safety of children in Jersey
