Story Behind the Curve
The strength of this measure is that it helps us determine how prepared partner agency children (ages 0-5) are for school. This quantifies school readiness in domains beyond language & literacy development, including also cognition & general knowledge, approaches towards learning, physical well-being & motor development, social & emotional development. Our partners use different tools to assess school readiness, including GOLD standards, Ages & Stages Questionnaire (ASQ), and Life Skills Progression (LSP).

ACPC and YSS started reporting this data prior to FY20-21. ChildServe, Story Time Childcare, and UCC also started reporting this data in FY20-21.
