Story Behind the Curve

Until FY19-20, the United Way Strategy Map had a broadly interpreted measure "% of families that received adequate referral sources." In the revised Strategy Map (approved by the Board May 2020), this performance measure has been situated under Physical Health. As such, the only referrals counted here are ones specifically for physical health services.

Other referrals continue to be made and reported on by partner agencies. This is important as growing a base of support for our clients is vital. These other referrals are now aggregated under Financial Stability, Result 1.4, Performance Measure 1.4a and 1.4b, as well as under Health, Result 1.1, Performance Measure 1.1c.

Partners

The partners reporting data aggregated here include:

  • Heartland Senior Services - Outreach
  • The Arc of Story County - Service Coordination.
