Story Behind the Curve
'Engagement' includes social media content interactions, post enagements (likes, comments and shares) and mentions.
In July 2024, we rolled out our latest campaign, which included paid advertising and promoted posts. The campaign used paid ads with Facebook and Instagram to promote the campaign before, during and after Hepatitis Awareness Week and World Hepatitis Day. The paid campaign meant a large increase in stats for our social media for that month, which has since dropped to regular, but healthy levels.

What Works
As could be expected, paid posts and promotions are the most effective driver of engagement on social media.
