FY23: The youth impacted by incarceration in the program are making strides but as many of these youth in the current cohort have a currently incarcerated family member, the challenges are different. We are finding that while the youth's skills are improving, their incarcerated family members are often discouraging them from visiting the detention center which negatively impacts their abilities and opportunities to engage with that family member in a meaningful way.
