Story Behind the Curve
The indicator measures the number of Local Health Departments in Indiana who participated in the Public Health Workforce Interests and Needs Survey.
Public Health Workforce Interests and Needs Survey: PH WINS a national representative data survey of our governmental public health workforce. This data outlines the demographics of the workforce and individual perspectives of key issues, such as morale, training needs, and emerging concepts.
PHWINS was fielded for the first time in 2014. Occurring every three years, results are typically released the following year.
