The "Story Behind the Measure" helps us understand the causes and forces at work that explain the data behind the 'percent of participants completing survey who report satisfaction with the program' and the resources that Healthy Haywood plans to commit to address the health issue.  Healthy Haywood/Haywood Health and Human Services devotes staff time to the administration and promotion of the program.  

What's Helping What We Do? These are the positive forces at work in our community wellness program that influence how much we do or how well we do it.

• The program is available at no cost to participants.  
• The focus of challenges goes beyond physical activity, making them more accessible to those with physical limitations.  

What's Hurting What We Do? These are the negative forces at work in our community wellness program that influence how much we do or how well we do it.

• Low participation in surveys that ask the participant satisfaction question
• More consistent survey distribution is needed for both midpoint and closing surveys, as these surveys are where the participant satisfaction question is asked.  In addition, it would benefit this program to ask a narrative question about whether or not participants report program satisfaction.
