Measure Definition
This measure identifies the percentage of child support cases where health insurance is ordered and provided compared to to cases where health insurance is ordered.
This is a federal measure that is calculated after the end of the federal fiscal year that ends on September 30th.
Story Behind the Curve
The percentages increased in FFY 2021 and FFY2022 due in part to continuous Medicaid enrollment during the COVID-19 Publice Health Emergency. We anticipate these percentages may decrease going forward as Medicaid eligibility and enrollment is reviewed. For this reason, the target value determined by averaging FFY2018-FFY2020.
