This is a federal measure calculated at the end of the federal fiscal year that ends on September 30th.
Story Behind the Curve
The current support collection rate for the Utah child support program has remained fairly static, averaging 64.17% from federal fiscal years 2009 through 2023. It did trend downward during the pandemic, reaching a five year low in 2022, but there is a slight upward trend towards pre-pandemic levels.
