Story Behind the Curve
This program is slated to engage 10 fellows in hard to fill positions. By creating this pathway, DPH simultaneously recruits and builds the expertise of staff for essential work. Currently, the program has recruited and retained 4 fellows as it enters its next phase and year. DPH has received 33 applications for the new year with interviews starting in April.
The aim is for these fellows to gain skills and expertise necessary to thrive at DPH and move into full time positions post fellowship. The program fosters educational and personal development opportunities to engage and retain fellows.
