Story Behind the Curve
In order to retain the interest of qualified candidates and fill positions quicker, DPH seeks to decrease the number of days it takes to fill positions. NC DPH has the performance goal of being in alignment with NC DHHS's target of 60 days for the time to fill metric by December 2025.
In SFY3 & 4 NC DPH changed the way it calculates this measure to align with the CDC standard for the measure using the number of days from the day the job was posted (versus requested to post) to an employee's start date.
