Story Behind the Curve
As NC DPH transitions from ARPA Workforce funding to PHIG, the agency recognizes the importance and need for continued leadership support and development opportunities. The Workforce Team has leveraged our connection with ASTHO to place leaders in leadership development opportunities during the transition while also prioritizing and preparing to launch leadership programs with our academic partners. SFY4 2024 reflects 14 DPH leaders supported through our national partners as we build and launch programs over the next year as part of our broader agency workforce plan.
