Measure Definition

All DHHS employees are asked to complete the Guarding Minds @ Work stress satisfaction scan quarterly. The stress satisfaction index (SSIX) provides extra information about the effect of two important mediators (fairness and supervisor support) on the basic score. This shows how these mediators affect the basic scores by increasing or lowering them. For example, the positive experience of supervisor support and fairness increases the scores while the absence of this experience lowers them.

National data is not available.

Story Behind the Curve

The GM stress satisfaction scan had a response rate of 33%. Negative vs positive mental health culture remained at an average risk of psychological injury. The employee well-being workgroup updated its charter and membership to better support employee wellness.
