Family Support Child Care Financial Assistance is for families who are experiencing significant stress, or are at risk for abuse or neglect. This is a time limited service, and usually is only approved for up to 12 months. There was a small increase in children using this service need.

The local Children's Integrated Services (CIS) teams are important in supporting these families.
