Story Behind the Curve
For FY22, No youth were placed in the Youth Employment Initiative program in FY22. The Garrett County Local Management Board made the decision not to fund the program in FY23.
For HFY1 22, The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has been challenging for the YEI program. Outreach will continue to area business and the two local high schools in hopes of recruiting two disconnected youth for the program.

Data Discussion
For FY19, the S-YES program will track all youth served and the annual data will reflect those youth funded directly through the Local Management Board. The expectation is for the participants to obtain full-time employment and/or become involved in additional education or work experience programming.
Data for the Summer Youth Employment Supplement program will be available by Mid-July 2019. This is an annual reporting data reporting program only.
