Story Behind the Curve
The Macomb County Health Department reviews Michigan Care Improvement Registry data for vaccine coverage of WIC enrolled children. Letters are sent to parents in an effort to improve immunization rates in Macomb County. MCHD provides immunizations in multiple WIC clinics to reduce barriers to vaccines. Data included for this measure does not include Warren WIC/Thompson Center recalls for 2017.
