Story Behind the Curve
As the school year was not quite half done at the conclusion of mid-year for reporting purposes, there had not yet been a full marking period since the end of the first marking period. Staff worked with the teaching staff for each youth to determine progress. While many students had already demonstrated improvement as of mid-year, we anticipate that the more significant gains will be shown by the end of the school year when the YES program staff has had over six months to work closely with each child and their family.
