Story Behind the Curve
Despite the fact that this program faced two major obstacles in FY17 - a change in the Program Manager and a move from one agency/vendor to another as the original organization went out of business - it has only grown and improved this year! There was a small gap in services in the spring as the program was moving but the Program Manager did everything in her power to minimize the impact of the transition. That did mean, however, that there was a loss of time in the middle of the reporting period when new participants could not be enrolled in the program which, in combination with the loss of some participants that enrolled prior to the transition between vendors, led to lower numbers in the number of youth in the program 60 days or more. However, the level of service was clearly strong and consistent all the way through and yielded great results for the youth in the program.
FY20 A number of necessary services and supports needed for youth to meet their goals were unavialable of the last part of the fiscal year because of COVID.
